I have been promising Faith that would take her on a train ride, so I decided to take her down to San Diego on Amtark, and then to the Zoo. the Weather was good, we have been getting rain off and on for the past 3 weeks.
Faith enjoyed the train ride, and we took a Trolley and the bus to get to the zoo. We got there around noon, so we had 5 hours to visit. We took the tour bus and enjoyed all the animals. The line to see the Panda's was really long. We went on to see the Polar Bears, but they were enjoying the sun by napping.
When we came out around 4:15, the panda line was very short. We asked and found out that the Panda's were out of the enclosure while they cleaned up and measured food intake and brought out fresh bamboo. They were not sure if they would be back out before the park closed, but Faith wanted to stay. To everyone's suprise, mom and son were brought out 10 minuites later. They went straight for the food and got comfortable, which gave us a great photo op.
It was a fun day, but more rain is supposed to come this week. We will keep you posted as we spend our weekends together.
